Crow Nation Tea Party Update—4/19/2010
The Crow Nation Tea Party has returned from a fact finding mission to Washington DC.. While in DC last week they had meetings with various legislators and Federal Agencies to educate them on the rights and treaties of the Crow Nation in Montana.. After these intense meetings and discussions, they attended the National Tea Party gathering in DC on Thursday, April 15th, 2010. With the generous financial assistance of friends at the Heritage Foundation and Montana Shrugged they were able to repair the axle on their vehicle and return safely home to Montana. They are now in Billings, MT meeting with various newspaper and television media to announce their position on enforcing the 1948 Treaty. They are also demanding meetings and actions with the Attorney General and Federal marshal offices to assist them in invoking the Treaty and installing the proper leader of the reservation as Adrian Bird. And finally, they are putting out a formal request to invite Sarah Palin to become a member of the tribe and act as a National Spokesman for their causes. This message has been submitted by Karmelita Plains Bull Martin, a member of the Crow Nation and spokesperson for Adrian Bird.
