The Montana Shrugged Group has submitted this rebuttal to the Billings Gazette newspaper article regarding comments from a Billings man. You can find the original Billings Gazette Article at the following web address:
"As the lead organizer of the Billings Tea Party group I want to take the time to thank the Laurel Chamber of Commerce for their significant support of the Patriotism of America. I also would like to acknowledge them for presenting our group with the best Patriotic Float in the parade. Thank you. I want to thank all our marchers for there excellent behavior and there personal sacrifice to take time out of there busy schedules to march for America. I would also like to thank the huge crowd for their tremendous show of support for the issues facing this country. It is our goal to open discussion on the issues and helping the citizens address them with their politicians. Since we started this patriot activity on April 15th we have had extraordinary praise from all sides of the political aisles. OH and by the way. we are non denominational. WE are Americans fighting for American freedoms. We talk to all people. We listen to all people. We educate all people to the ideas of our founding fathers. God Bless America." |
